Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and FixVis ("FixVis", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the FixVis website, dashboard, APIs and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
FixVis is a multi-tenant platform that runs SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) visibility audits for websites you own or are authorised to analyse, and produces reports, scores and recommendations. Features, credit allowances and limits depend on your plan.
2. Accounts and organisations
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Work in FixVis is organised into organisations (workspaces). An organisation owner controls membership and which projects each member may access.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- audit or submit domains you do not own or have explicit permission to analyse, or otherwise infringe the rights of others;
- probe, overload, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure, or circumvent usage or credit limits;
- use the Service to build a competing product, or resell it without our written consent;
- upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content, or use the Service unlawfully.
4. Credits, plans and billing
- Audits and certain features consume credits or are governed by plan limits. One audit run consumes one scan credit unless stated otherwise.
- Paid plans and credit purchases are billed as described at checkout. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable and credits are non-transferable.
- We may change pricing and plan features on a going-forward basis; changes do not affect the billing period already paid for.
5. Your content and data
You retain all rights to the websites, connected accounts, and data you submit or connect ("Customer Data"). You grant FixVis a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to operate and improve the Service and to provide your reports. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Third-party services and connectors
The Service can connect to third-party platforms (for example Google Search Console and Google Analytics) at your direction. Connectors are read-only — we never write to, modify or publish on your connected properties. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms, and you are responsible for having the right to connect them.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, scoring methodology, models and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by FixVis and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may use the reports we generate for your own internal and client purposes.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixVis disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Audit scores and recommendations are informational and do not guarantee any search ranking, traffic or business outcome.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixVis will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (for example ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at FixVis's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
