Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FixVis ("FixVis", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and safeguards information when you use the FixVis SEO and AEO audit platform (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account data — name, email address, password (stored hashed), and organisation details you create.
  • Audit inputs — the website domains and projects you submit for analysis, and any settings or notes you add.
  • Billing data — plan selection and, for paid plans, payment details handled by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage and device data — pages viewed, actions taken, browser and device information, and IP address, collected through cookies and analytics (see §6).
  • Audit results — data we retrieve about the public web pages you ask us to audit, and the scores, findings and reports we generate.

Information from connected third-party accounts

  • When you connect a third-party platform (for example Google Search Console or Google Analytics), we access — with your authorisation and read-only — performance and analytics data for the properties you select, to enrich your audits and reports.
Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure. FixVis's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained from Google (such as Search Console and Analytics data) is used solely to provide and improve user-facing features within FixVis — namely your audits, scores and reports. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to others except as necessary to provide the Service (or for security, legal or compliance reasons or with your consent), and we do not allow humans to read it unless you explicitly grant permission for support, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymised. Connectors are read-only; we never write to your Google properties.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, maintain and secure the Service and run the audits you request;
  • To generate your reports, scores and recommendations;
  • To process billing and manage plans and credits;
  • To communicate with you about your account, security and service updates;
  • To analyse and improve the Service and develop new features;
  • To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and technical issues;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • Within your organisation — reports and project data are visible to members of your organisation according to the access the owner grants.
  • With service providers (sub-processors) — cloud hosting, storage, analytics, payment processing and AI/LLM providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, only to provide the Service.
  • For legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of FixVis, our users or the public.
  • In a business transfer — as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Data received from Google APIs is shared only as described in the Limited Use disclosure above.

4. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then retain and delete it in line with our legal obligations and legitimate business needs. You can request deletion of your account and associated data as described in §7; on request we delete or de-associate data obtained from connected Google accounts, subject to legal retention requirements.

5. Security

We use administrative, technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, tenant isolation, access controls and least-privilege practices — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the Service is used. We use product-analytics tools (for example Google Analytics and PostHog) to measure and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can:

  • update your account information in the dashboard;
  • disconnect a connected Google (or other) account at any time from the integrations settings, which revokes our ongoing access;
  • request access to or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected].

You may also revoke FixVis's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

8. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers. Sovereign / in-region deployments are available for eligible customers so that data does not leave a required region.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Contact
